Boasting its iconic leopard brand, Shesha™ raw sugarcane-based energy drink contains raw sugar juice made from high sucrose sugarcane, Vitamin B3, B6 and B12, Guarana and Ginseng and Caffeine – the primary active ingredient in most energy drinks.
Guarana and Ginseng are herbal stimulants that contain caffeine. Caffeine is a stimulant that increases alertness, reduces fatigue and improves concentration. The herbs will also serve to complement the added caffeine in the naturally sweetened drink. The B vitamins play a role in energy metabolism, essential for converting food into energy.
The leopard stamp of approval symbolises power, strength, agility, stealth, authenticity and rare beauty! In the Zulu culture, it symbolises pride, loyalty, courage and honour. Leopard skins are also used in ceremonial wear by Zulu royalty.
What's in the name?

About Us
Since the late 1800s, farmers from all backgrounds and cultures have grown the crop which provides income for more than a million rural people in KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga.
And while about 1 000 commercial growers deliver their crop to the industry’s 12 sugar mills each year, more than 19 000 people – mainly in women-led households in deep rural areas where jobs are hard to come by – depend on their sugarcane harvest to make ends meet.
At the start of each academic year, school fees, books and uniforms for thousands of youngsters are funded by the income from sugarcane.
Shesha has been developed by Womoba Pty Ltd – a proudly South African company and subsidiary of South African Canegrowers who represent all growers in the South African sugar industry.
The Shesha cane juice factory is nestled in the very heart of sugarcane country in northern KwaZulu-Natal, where we hand-peel the selected cane before it is mechanically crushed and the juice extracted.
The development of Shesha energy drink is our way of harnessing the power of sugarcane to fuel performance, uplift local communities, and shape a sustainable future – all in one energising sip!
